Bottle Hill Day

Posted by Scott Foster on

To see lives transformed, families strengthened, and our community renewed through intentional relationship with Jesus Christ.

Community Renewed

That’s our vision statement. And this Saturday, we’re getting outside the building. Our church lawn is a family destination on Bottle Hill Day.

Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, clean restrooms (ahhhhhhhh), and maybe a cool beverage (easy, not that kind). That’s what we do. That’s PCM outreach.

Back on Rally Day, we did all this vision-casting into a flawless future for PCM. What are people seeing, saying and doing differently by Rally Day 2018? This Saturday has always been part of that vision—Community Renewed.

PCM is not just a sweet landmark building in Madison. Yes, we are the first church in Bottle Hill. We’re the oldest, by far. But PCM is not this building.

PCM is us—one and all—you and me.

Bottle Hill Day is our opportunity to jump into the flow—an entire community showcase of who we are now. A part of the community not apart from it. A church that lives into the community. Local characters—one and all—you and me.

That is definitely who we are.

So, we’ll be looking for you all day Saturday! We need your help setting up, tearing down, selling pony ride tickets, supervising the kids around the petting zoo, handing out beverages, staffing the tent downtown. You know what? Just come be a character and give us some of your local flavor.

Come see how the Spirit moves you on Bottle Hill Day. You’ll be surprised.

See you Saturday—and Sunday!

Grace & Peace,
Scott
