Halloween Stuff

I love Halloween season!

Sure, it means All Saints Day is coming when we recognize and pray for the souls of our departed saints. I love that—though the pagan in me probably has more fun with Halloween and Mischief Night.

I love driving around town and seeing the decorations come out. The big spider webs and zombies and ghouls and goblins scattered across the lawns. Leaves falling like crazy, trees turning. Jack-o-lanterns. You know the drill. Love it!

Special thanks to Jim Burnet and Patrick Allred who are putting together our Mischief Night Cemetery Tour and the Halloween on Green trick-or-treat for the kids. So much fun and great community outreach for PCM! Thank you, guys!

Jim is our Cemetery Trustee and he's got some direct connections with the spooks and ghosts of the famous Madisonians and old PCM pastors buried in Hillside Cemetery. Don't miss this tour! 7:00 and 7:30pm on Mischief Night—the first tour won't be quite as "scary." Meet at the gate by Weenies. Volunteer to help—it is a blast! Contact Jim here to help or to RSVP.

And Patrick is our Director of Family Ministries running point on Halloween on Green starting at 6pm. This is trick-or-treating on the church lawn, games, and fun activities. We need help here too, so if you can pass out candy, help with the games, or donate candy for the kids, contact Patrick here to help.

Big time fun coming our way!

Grace and Peace,
