Meditation

Posted by Scott Foster on

I can’t wait! I’m just getting ready to head out the door for the Christian Meditation session at Jolie over on Main Street. Julia Erickson, the owner and main leader at Jolie, is our meditative compass and she is fabulous!

Don’t misunderstand me. I love our church and I think we’re on fire! In so many ways. We are! And, I’ve always felt that our brand of church does a great job connecting mind and Spirit, a decent job of heart and Spirit, but not so much body and Spirit.

Meditation is very physical!
And it’s so simple!
All you have to do is let go…

You can really feel the Spirit relaxing every fiber of your being.
Whoosh…
It’s incredible!

I thought I knew how to meditate, and I do—a little. But! Having a soothing leader and a way to focus my spiritual energy outside my own brain is really transformative.
It’s like floating on the water.

It’s like a little half-hour vacation.
No, I’m not exaggerating.
It’s transcendent.

Like vacation.

Come try it with us—it’s wide open to anybody.
change your body
clear your mind
cultivate your soul
connect with the Spirit (okay, I added that one!)

Wednesdays at 1pm.
Jolie.
32 Main.

It will change your life.
Really.

I’m not making that up.

Grace and Peace,
Scott
